Drawn to Alpha Capital Management because of the firm’s unwavering commitment to clients, Bryan Lester joined ACM in 2018 as a Relationship Manager. He is committed to client service and believes that transparency, communication, and candor are the bedrocks of a successful investment management relationship. Along these lines, he is convinced that the fiduciary standard of care, the standard that ACM adheres to and requires a financial advisor to act solely in the best interests of the client, is optimal for investors.
Bryan began his career in the investment management industry in 2009 and is a CFA charterholder. He is a member of the CFA Institute as well as the CFA Society of Austin, where he has served as a volunteer. He began his journey through the world of investing as a research analyst for a Houston-based Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and has held a variety of positions within portfolio management. His experience in the industry includes stops at an investment bank and the aforementioned RIA.
He earned a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from Rice University, as well as a BBA in Finance and a Master of Accounting from Texas Christian University. Bryan started his professional life in the accounting field before returning to graduate school and transitioning into investment management.
He currently lives in central Austin with his wife and two young sons. In his spare time, when not chasing his sons around the house and/or yard, Bryan enjoys reading, cooking, and jogging up and down those pesky Austin hills.
