Kristen joined the Alpha Capital Management (ACM) team in April 2025 with 17 years of industry experience. She currently serves as an Operations and Compliance Manager where she directs regulatory adherence and operational efficiency across the firm.

 

Before uniting with ACM, she held key roles including Compliance Consultant at Standish Compliance Services, where she specialized in risk assessments, regulatory filings, and enhancing internal compliance frameworks for registered investment advisory firms within the private fund sector. Her career also includes a significant tenure at a hedge fund in Austin, TX, where she advanced to Chief Compliance Officer while also overseeing operations. At the fund, she played a critical role in maintaining regulatory standards, developing policies, and managing investor needs. Kristen's comprehensive understanding of both operational workflows and compliance requirements makes her a valued team member in ensuring firm integrity and client trust.

 

Kristen earned her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations, as well as a minor in Business, from Baylor University in 2007.

 

Kristen, her husband, and two daughters reside in Austin, TX. When they aren't running to various dance competitions, they enjoy traveling, being food critics at Austin's new restaurants, and hanging out with their two stubborn old dogs, Bluto and Gus.
